Letter from the founders

It is amazing how much our world has changed since our first child was born 3 months premature and weighed a little over 2 pounds. She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy-Spastic Diplegia at age 1.  After  the shock wore  off, we spent an entire year researching every therapy, treatment, drug, herb, and surgery on the market.

When our baby turned two we decided it was time to add Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to her current therapy program of physical and occupational therapy.  We packed our bags and off we went on a month long trip.  We noticed dramatic changes in her spasticity after only three days of treatments!

Hyperbaric Healing Institute was  created  so we could  get our daughter all the hyperbaric oxygen therapy she needed. Who knew having a child with Cerebral Palsy could have such a positive  impact on so many lives?  What a joy it is to go to work everyday. We have had the privilege of meeting people from all over the country and even a few other countries.

A few years ago we added a physical therapy clinic, Beyond Therapy, to our facility.  We feel that the combination of HBOT and Intensive Physical Therapy  (Suit  Therapy), and Biofeedback/Neurofeedback is the best program we can offer to those with neurological conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, and Traumatic Brain Injury.

At Hyperbaric Healing Institute our fully trained and certified staff are dedicated to provided safe, viable hyperbaric treatments to those who may benefit.  Our state-of-the-art walk-in/wheelchair accessible chamber can treat up to 10 people at a time with comfortable and generous seating.  Our facility provides a family room, kitchen and kids play area.

Sincerely,

David and Lisa Deister CHTs
